Speaking the inauguration ceremonial in Islamabad, he labeled the new system a big step towards realizing Pakistan's full potential, saying the country's currency economy was a big obstacle for it to fully take benefit of its people of 220 million.


Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday propelled the country's first instant digital payment system called Raast, which he said would increase the country's official economy.




He also said that, A country which 50 years back was proceeding the fastest in the region, cannot develop because we do not have enough money for it.

He said that the digital payment system would gradually take people away from the cash budget to a point where benefit could be taken of the country's huge population. Also the swing towards his vision of Digital Pakistan, the system would also principal to the insertion of people from the frailer segment of society.

On exceeding to above all, this might open the blocked way of crypto currency in Pakistan as well. (Aurther).
